Have you ever had a problem pitching yourself or your company to others? In a joint event on Thursday, February 8th, hosted by NAWBO-NOLA, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and the Women's Business Alliance of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, we tackled that topic.

Under the expert facilitation of Dr. Myra Corrello, Business Growth Strategies faculty with the Goldman Sachs program and a NAWBO-NOLA

Board Member, the attendees had the chance to perfect their pitch within a small group.  Each table had a dedicated coach who was a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program graduate, to assist while others at the table offered feedback. Nine lucky attendees were selected to present their pitch to the entire audience.

NAWBO-NOLA was honored to partner with both the New Orleans Chamber and Goldman Sachs for this event.  The feedback was fantastic and almost everyone stayed around for the happy hour at the Little Gem Saloon on Poydras Street to continue connecting. NAWBO-NOLA strives to provide educational and networking opportunities for our members and guests that are aligned with the needs of business owners - and this event did not disappoint!  Stay tuned for future upcoming events - and register early as they have been filling up fast!
